Cookies

We use so-called "cookies" on our website in order to recognise repeated use of our service by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser files and saves on your computer. They are used to optimise our website and our services. These generally involve "session cookies", which are deleted again at the end of your visit.

However, sometimes these cookies provide information that allows us to automatically recognise you again.
This recognition takes place based on the IP address saved in the cookies. The information that is obtained thus serves to optimise our services and make it possible for you to gain access to our site more easily in the future.

You can prevent the installation of cookies through appropriate configuration of your browser; however, we wish to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

Server data

For technical reasons, the following data that your internet browser transmits to us or our web host is collected (so-called server log files):

• Browser type and version
• Operating system used
• Website, from which you are visiting us (referrer URL)
• Website that you are visiting
• Date and time at which you gained access
• Your internet protocol (IP) address (anonymised).

This anonymous data is saved separately from any personal data entered and can therefore not be traced back to a specific person. It is used for statistical purposes in order to be able to optimise our website and our services.

Contact

On our website, we offer you the option of getting in contact with us by email and/or via a contact form. In this case, the data provided by the user will be saved for the purpose of processing his/her application. This data is not transmitted to third parties. This data is not compared with data that may be obtained via other components of our website either.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymising function

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google", on our website. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and thus enable us to analyse your use of the website.

The information generated by these cookies, for example, time, location and frequency of your visits to our website, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and saved there.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymising function on our website. As a result, Google will shorten and thus anonymise your IP address within European Union Member States or in other countries that are signatories of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on the website activities for us and provide other services connected with the website use and internet use. Google may also transmit this information to third parties providing that this is legally required or providing that third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google states that it will never combine your IP address with other data belonging to Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies through appropriate configuration of your browser software; however, we wish to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

What is more, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, which gives you a greater level of control over what data is recorded and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information will be transmitted to Google Analytics from your website visit. The activation does not, however, prevent information from being transmitted to us or to any other web analysis services used by us. Further information on the deactivation option provided by Google and on the activation of this option can be obtained via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Use of Google Maps with recommendation components

We use the "Google Maps" component on our website in combination with the so-called "parts function". "Google Maps" is a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

Whenever any of these components are accessed, a cookie is stored by Google in order to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which the "Google Maps" component is integrated. This cookie is not generally deleted upon closing the browser, but expires after a specific amount of time, providing that you do not manually delete it before then.

If you do not consent to your data being processed in this manner, there is the option of deactivating the "Google Maps" service and thus preventing the transmission of data to Google. You must deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser to do so. However, we would like to point out that, if you do this, you will not be able to use "Google Maps" or you will only be able to use it to a limited extent.

"Google Maps" and the information obtained via "Google Maps" must be used in accordance with the Google terms and conditions of use http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html
and the additional terms and conditions of "Google Maps" https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html

The Google Maps function also contains the following recommendation buttons:

"Google+ button" of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA;
"facebook button" of facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA;
"Twitter button" of Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

Accessing the "Google Maps" website initiates "recommendation components" where the browser you use downloads a corresponding description of the components from the respective provider. As a result, the aforementioned provider is informed as to which specific page you are visiting on our website.

If you are logged into your personal account with the aforementioned provider at the time at which the "Google Maps" website is accessed, this can record the information obtained regarding the website further recommended by you, as well as your IP address and other browser-related information, and link it to your account.

If you would like to prevent this transmission and storage of data about you and your behaviour on our website by the respective provider, you must log out from these providers before visiting our website.

Further information regarding data collection by the respective provider can be obtained via the following links:

Publication of job advertisements/online job applications

We will obtain and process your application details electronically for the purpose of handling the application procedure. If an employment contract is concluded as a result of your application, we can save your transmitted data in your personnel file for the purpose of the standard organisational and administrative processes, taking into consideration the relevant legal stipulations.

The data transmitted by you can be deleted automatically if your job application is rejected two months after we are made aware of this rejection. This does not apply if, due to legal requirements (for example the burden of proof in accordance with the General Act on Equal Treatment [Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz]), a longer period of storage is required or if you have expressly consented to a longer period of storage in our prospective client database.

Information/Withdrawal of Consent/Deletion

Due to the general data protection regulation, if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data and its rectification, storage, deletion or withdrawal of consent, you can contact us free of charge. Please note that you are entitled to rectify incorrect data or to delete personal data, providing that there is no legal obligation to retain this data.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Regional Representative for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt.
