The CARASTAR® - our universal batch cooker was developed for cooking a wide variety of masses (such as caramel, binders, jelly, fillings, sugar solutions, etc.). It is specially designed for atmospheric cooking, cooking under pressure, under vacuum, for post-vacuuming, and for cooling.
The cooker is available in various sizes, and additional options allow individual customization to your processes and production requirements.

Most of the systems have a reservoir tank mounted below the CARASTAR®. The cooked mass is discharged gravimetrically into this reservoir. From here, it is continuously fed into the downstream process, while the weighing and cooking process in the CARASTAR® starts again with the next batch.
