Energy saving with CHOCOTECH

Our aim is to develop sustainable and energy-saving machines, systems and processes for the efficient production of high-quality confectionery. In order to meet these requirements, we use the latest technologies and also rethink established processes - so that our customers achieve the best production and product results.  

What potential savings are there?

There are various ways of saving energy in confectionery production. Our goals when implementing the energy-saving concepts were to avoid, reduce and recover. The consumption of the following resources can be significantly reduced through a mix of hardware, software and demand-optimized processes:

  • electricity
  • steam
  • water
  • compressed air

For example, by using our ECOGRAV®, which uses the water content in the glucose to dissolve the sugar, energy costs can be reduced by over 50 %.

Hygienic designs and precise control

Even minor optimizations can have great potential for energy savings.

With the use of software modules developed in-house for optimized process control and process monitoring, multiple optimization options for system hardware, energy consumption monitoring and many other possibilities, we give our customers the opportunity to significantly reduce the energy consumption of new process systems and thus make the production of their confectionery sustainable and efficient. 

CIP-capable machines and intelligent systems that detect and report leaks or heat reclaim systems using vapors and condensate to heat the periphery of the process plant are just a small selection of the options that you can use to make effective cost savings.
