Halva is a fat based and laminated aerated sugar mass. The fat base can be Sesame Paste, Peanut Paste or Sunflower Seed Paste. Other fat bases are used around the globe such as Chickpea Paste in India, where the product is known as Soan Papdi. The fat paste is blended and laminated with cooked sugar in a CHOCOTECH Laminator until the required product structure is achieved, which can be short of long based. Important is no fat separation occurs during the process. The mass is then formed, cooled, and cut on the SOLLICH Conbar Line.
