For jellies or gummies the gravimetric solution is the most common and is typically supplied as six CFA system mounted above a mogul. For hard candies, chewy candies, aerated products and OTC applications the volumetric system is preferred.
Blending of minor ingredients into the main candy stream is executed either via a continuous static mixer or a continuous dynamic mixer depending on the application.
